I don’t think I was clear enough in my post. I believe the LCD does work since I can turn the backlight on (by setting PD13), I just can’t seem to get anything show up on the LCD, not even a different background color. It is just white…
This is very frustrating!

Hello sir,
i am very grateful for valuable information you have shared with us. However Our project is about encryption n decryption. and we are trying for PC-PC communication. First we will encrypt the msg & through the RF link pass it to another PC. There we will decrypt & then display. its wireless communication. Coding we are trying 2 do through Twofish algorithm. & the software for coding we are suppose 2 use is MATLAB. can you please guide us about coding part?

I’m using J-Link and IAR EWARM.
I am not sure of the FSMC settings, because I had a hard time understanding the timing computations presented in the application note about TFT LCD interfacing with the
high-density STM32F10xxx FSMC.
Also, I tried only turning the display ON, by setting the value 0×0133 to reg 7 of the ILI9325 controller. Of course, it didn’t work…

Hello!
You seem to be using the same development board as I am, with the same LCD.
So far, it was impossible for me to make the LCD display anything at all and it is driving me crazy. I have double checked (actually, I checked a thousand times) the ILI9325 settings, the FSMC and the internal clocks of the stm, but nothing seems wrong to me…
If you have any idea, or any tips, please share!

Thanks alot for providing this much of valuable information in easy to use LCD library.In this code i made two changes i.e.,1)connected R/W pin to GND,and commented LCDBusyLoop(); 2 times one at InitLCD and second at LCDByte(); insted of busy loop function i inserted a delay 10 ms, so here i saved one M.C.U pin.
2)I connected data pins(D4,D5,D6,D7) from LCD to higher nibble at MCUport(PD4,PD5,PD6,PD7)
with some changes at InitLCD();LCDByte();,it is working good.My question is it ok eliminate reading data from L.C.D or it’s needed,

how can we simulate MMA7260 in proteus (ISIS) professional or any other simulator?
i did not find any file or any other type of acce sensor like ADXL330 in proteus!
is there any way we can simulate accelerometer?

Hi Avinash,
For the 12V DC motors (the one I have are rated 12V, 300mA), I’m experimenting with battery power. Looks like standard 9V or AA batteries are no good. What kind of batteries you recommend to run the motors. (I have four motors as I’m not using a castor wheel or a dummy motor)

Hi the lcd hex file works. but when i tried to compile the lcd_test.h file, the compiler says “extended cpu mode is enabled,the compiled file doesn’t work”.how can i configure mplab ide hitech so that it can work? am waiting ur help. thank u.
